Los Madrilenos are the most difficult people for me to follow, normally (as in many large capital cities) very rapidly spoken, and running words together almost.
But I think mostly "the" standard European Spanish is spoken in the general Cuenca region of mainland Spain, and is Castilian or Castellano, as well as being much slower than the Spanish spoken in Madrid. See all items with this value
