Many say Argentine Spanish even sounds Italian. So, if you want to imitate it, think of your favorite Godfather character and add some Italian snazz.

Chilean Spanish is so fast and distinctive that even native Spanish speakers have trouble understanding it. (Yikes!) Chileans are speed demons when it comes to speaking, so fair warning. In general, the Costa Rican accent is considered fairly neutral and isn’t spoken too fast. (A linguistic paradise!) The first thing you’ll notice is that they use lots of usted. Everybody calls everybody else usted, so follow their lead. Whatever you do, don’t use tú. Costa Ricans don’t really use tú, when they use informal you, they opt for vos.
